Does SetlistForge file my GEMA report automatically?

No. It produces the performed-songs list and the fields the society asks for, formatted as a PDF you check and then submit through the society's own portal. It is a preparation aid, not a filing service.

Which performance-rights societies are supported?

Seven: GEMA (Germany), SUISA (Switzerland), ASCAP and BMI (USA), PRS for Music (UK), SABAM (Belgium) and SOCAN (Canada). Each has its own fields and a PDF in its own language. See Prepare the royalties report.

Does it show chord charts or lyrics on stage?

No. SetlistForge is the production side of the gig — timing, print and paperwork. Pair it with your chart or teleprompter app.

Can the whole band use it?

Licences are per account. Your library and setlists follow your login across your own devices; share the printed PDF or Copy as text with the rest of the band.

Does it work on an iPad or a phone?

Yes. It is a browser app, so there is no App Store and nothing to install. Tablets and laptops are the comfortable place to build; phones get a layout adapted to small screens.

Is SetlistForge a subscription?

No. One purchase of €29 through Gumroad, claimed to your Squaresmile account.

Where is my data stored?

In the browser first, so the tool never waits for the network. If you accept the one-time backup prompt, songs, setlists and settings are also saved to your account and restored on your other devices. The backup is stored readable on the server, not end-to-end encrypted. See Account sync.

Are attached audio files backed up?

No. Audio stays on the device where you attached it. Library exports do not include audio either.

What do the Camelot badges mean?

Each key maps to a Camelot wheel code. Songs with the same number, or a neighbouring number with the same letter, mix smoothly; a large distance is flagged as a hard transition.

Can I import my existing song list?

Yes. Import songs (CSV) takes pasted text or a .csv / .txt file up to 2 MB and 1,000 rows, and lets you map the columns. Only the title column is required.

Is there a limit on library size?

There is no hard cap, but from 200 songs the app recommends a backup and from 500 it warns that performance may suffer. A single setlist over 500 entries must be split before PDF export.
