Account sync

Every tool stores your work in the browser first, so it never waits for the network. When you are signed in and verified, most tools also keep a copy on your account, and the same work opens on your other devices. There is nothing to switch on. Sync is per account — a share link is something else (see Sharing).

• TempoSense — set log and settings live on the device only.
• SoundSense audiogram — your hearing thresholds are never stored on the server; the server refuses that key.
• Show Clock text-size presets — per device by design.
• Spektra, SubPress, Airchain — desktop software, all local.

How conflicts are resolved

Sync is last-write-wins: for each document or setting the newest edit wins, whole — nothing is merged field by field. The server's clock decides what is newest, so a device with a wrong clock cannot win forever.

• Edit the same thing on two devices at nearly the same moment and the later edit replaces the earlier one.
• Edits made offline are pushed when you reconnect. If a newer version reached the account in the meantime, that newer version wins and the device adopts it.
• A tab left open for days re-checks the account when you return to it.

Storage quota

Each account holds 50 MB across all tools; the Storage meter on the Account page shows what is in use. A single document can be at most 10 MB. Over the limit, the tool keeps saving on the device but the account copy is refused and the tool shows a sync warning — delete documents you no longer need inside the tool to make room.

Who can read it

Synced data is stored as plain JSON on the server. It is not end-to-end encrypted, so the platform operator can technically read it; it is used for the nightly backup and for support, nothing else. Do not store anything on your account you would not want read. You can download everything or delete the account at any time — see Your account.
