Share or bookmark a readout

PitchSense writes your current inputs into the page address as you type. Copy the URL from the address bar and whoever opens it sees the same frequency, the same note, the same harmonic fundamental and the same A4 reference.

What goes into the link

• hz — the frequency in the Hz → Note field.
• note and oct — the selection in Note → Hz (only when it is not the default A4).
• harm — the Harmonic Series fundamental (only when it is not the default 110 Hz).
• a4 — the A4 reference (only when it is not 440 Hz).

Default values are left out so a fresh page has a clean address.

How to use it

1. Set up the readout you want to show — for example A4 at 442 Hz, 315 Hz in the converter, and 110 Hz in the harmonics.
2. Copy the address from the browser's address bar. On a phone, tap the share button of the browser and choose Copy link.
3. Paste it into a message, or bookmark it. Opening the link restores every value.

The address updates a moment after you stop typing, so give it a second before copying.

What is not in the link

• Wave and volume are personal playback settings. They are remembered on your own device (and synced to your account when you are signed in), not put in the link.
• The reference-table search is not stored anywhere.
