Prepare a whole set

A gig is a set, not a song. When SetlistForge holds a set on this device, ClickSmith's start screen shows ☰ Prepare a whole set from SetlistForge.

Open the set

1. Press ☰ Prepare a whole set from SetlistForge and pick the set.
2. Songs whose audio is attached in SetlistForge show audio in SetlistForge and open straight away.
3. For the rest, drop the files onto the dialog (or choose them): they are matched to the songs by title — track numbers, extensions, accents and extra words like "master v3" don't get in the way.
4. Press Open on a song. It opens with the setlist's BPM as a guide: a song detected at half or double the setlist tempo is set to it (matched to the setlist's 124), and a real disagreement is flagged (setlist says 102 — check).

While a set song is open, the strip above the waveform shows the set and the song's place in it; ‹ and › open the previous and next song, ☰ Set list reopens the dialog. Work through the songs as usual — check the grid, name the cues, set the count-in — everything is saved per song.

Export the whole set

Export the set renders every prepared song with the current export settings (see Export the click track) into one zip, in set order: 01 Night Drive - CLICK L SONG R.wav, 02 …. A song whose audio isn't available right now is skipped and named in the status line.

Hand it to Show Clock

Set the show's start time and press Copy for Show Clock. In Show Clock, open Paste schedule and paste: every song becomes a Set slot that counts down its exact length, one after another from the start time, with the tempo and your named sections in the notes.
