Troubleshooting
Plugin missing in the host, unexpected latency, a hollow or thin result — likely causes.
Diese Seite gibt es bisher nur auf Englisch.
| Symptom | Likely cause & fix |
|---|---|
| SubPress does not appear in my DAW | Rescan plugins after installing. Check the host loads VST3 or AU — SubPress ships in those two formats only; there is no AAX build for Pro Tools. |
| My host reports latency from SubPress | SubPress adds none by design. Look at other plugins in the chain or the host's own buffer settings. |
| The low end still pumps the whole mix | The crossover is set too high, or the compressor is acting on more than the sub. Lower the crossover (it goes down to 40 Hz) and solo the low band to hear exactly what is being compressed. |
| Controlling the low end made the mix dull | That is what the high-band saturator is for. Raise Saturation and adjust Makeup, then toggle Bypass to compare. |
| The bass feels wide or unstable on the PA | Engage Mono Low to collapse everything below the crossover to mono; the high band keeps its stereo image. |
| I cannot find a licence key to enter | There is none. SubPress is sold and delivered through Gumroad with no platform activation step. |
| I need an update | Updates are free for licence holders and are delivered through Gumroad. |
