RiderSmith

The tech rider your venue actually reads — assembled from what your other Squaresmile tools already know. Coming soon.

Diese Seite gibt es bisher nur auf Englisch.

RiderSmith is not released yet. It is in build and open only to beta testers and licence holders; there is nothing to buy today. This page describes what it is designed to do. A full guide follows at launch.

A stage plot is one page of a tech rider; the rider is the whole document a venue receives, and for most bands it is a Word file with last year's phone number in it. RiderSmith is an assembler, not another editor: it builds the document from parts your other tools already hold.

Who it is for

  • Touring and gigging bands who send the same rider to every promoter.
  • Tour and production managers who need a versioned rider per venue and date.
  • Bands touring abroad who want an English rider from a German interface, or the reverse.

What it is designed to do

  • Sections you toggle and reorder — contact, FOH & PA, monitoring, input list, wireless, backline, power, stage plot, schedule, hospitality, merchandise and custom notes, each with its own table.
  • Standard blocks in the rider's language. A library of written boilerplate for PA, monitoring, power, hospitality and more. The rider's output language is set per rider, independently of your interface language; your own text stays exactly as typed.
  • Imports from the suite — the input list and plot image from Stage Plot Generator, the wireless plan from FreqSense, the site power total from PowerSense, set timings from SetlistForge — with a hint when the source has changed since you imported it.
  • A branded PDF with your logo and band photo, page numbers and a "last updated" stamp; print as the lightweight alternative.
  • Versioning by duplication — copy the rider for the next venue and date.

RiderSmith will be a paid tool, bought once on Gumroad and unlocked on your account — see Licences and paid tools. It is listed as coming soon until the launch. The platform overview lists the tools that are live today.
