Troubleshooting
Overloaded lists that looked fine, cable verdicts that will not clear, missing gear on another device, and a blocked print window.

| Symptom | Likely cause & fix |

| A list is Overloaded although the total looks small | One phase carries most of the load. Press Auto-balance phases, or move hand-assigned devices to a lighter phase. |
| Headroom turned amber | Worst-phase headroom is under 20 %. Raise the feed, move gear to another list or accept that this distro is tight. |
| A generator list reads Tight earlier than a mains list | Intended. Generator feeds warn from 30 % headroom because continuous load should stay at or below 70 %. |
| A hoist or 400 V rack made the per-phase current jump | Correct behaviour since v2.13: an amp-plated 3-ph device loads every phase in full. Earlier plans under-read by 3×; re-check old plans. |
| A device sits on the wrong phase after adding gear | The plan was not pinned, so auto-balance reshuffled it. Press Pin auto phases once the layout is right. |
| Cable verdict Undersized will not clear | The run takes the worst-phase current by default. Either go up a gauge, or switch Current to manual if this run really carries only a sub-load. |
| Voltage drop above 5 % on a long run | Shorten the run, increase the cross-section, or switch System to 3-phase if that is what the cable actually is. |
| Feed above the preset range | Breaker size is beyond the rule-of-thumb table. Have the electrician engineer the feeder; the tool will not guess. |
| My gear or a list is missing on another device | Both devices must be signed in to the same account and online. Reload the page. See Account sync. |
| Account sync is paused — reload the page to reconnect | The sync connection dropped. Changes are saved on this device; reload when you have signal. |
| Local saving is unavailable in this browser | Private mode or full storage. Use a normal window; account sync is the only safety net until then. |
| Print window was blocked | Allow pop-ups for this site and press Print phase plan again. |
| CSV opens in one column | The file is semicolon-separated. Use your spreadsheet's import dialog and choose ; as the delimiter. |
| A preset device's wattage looks wrong for my unit | Presets are typical values. Edit the power in the row to the nameplate — and consider the safety margin for inrush. |
When the numbers disagree with the electrician
The electrician is right. PowerSense uses conservative guideline values and does not model installation conditions, harmonics or neutral current. Use the plan to arrive prepared; let the qualified person on site make the final call and sign it off.
