Add cues, spoken markers and a rehearsal loop

The Markers panel holds two kinds of markers and the loop. Cues and audio markers end up in the click channel of the export, so the band hears them in the in-ears and the room does not.

Cue markers

1. Click the waveform where you want the cue (the cursor is the white line).
2. Press Set cue. The status line confirms Cue 3 set: 1:42 and the marker appears on the waveform and in the list.
3. Each entry in the list has a Remove cue control; Clear all cues removes them all.

Cues are numbered in the order you add them and shown on the waveform, so "solo here" or "half-time" is on the timeline instead of a sheet nobody reads mid-song.

Markers with audio

An audio marker plays a file at a point in the song — a spoken "chorus in two", a count, a stab.

1. Place the cursor where the marker should fire. During playback the cursor is a free position, so you can also press the button while listening.
2. Press + Add marker at cursor & attach audio and choose the file. The status line reads Marker added at 1:42 · name.
3. The marker is listed with a → Click channel badge: it is mixed into the click (right) channel of the export and into the click side of what you hear in the page.

Could not decode that audio means the browser cannot read that file — export it as WAV or MP3 and try again. Each marker has a Remove marker control.

The rehearsal loop

Drag a region on the waveform to set a loop. It snaps to the beat grid, so the loop starts and ends on beats. The status line shows Loop: 1:40 – 1:48; playback then cycles the region until you press Stop. Clear loop removes it.

With the waveform focused you can also press I for loop in and O for loop out at the cursor.

Pause inside the loop and resume, and the click re-anchors to the song position, so what you hear is where you are.
