The eleven platform languages, where the picker is, how the choice is remembered, which tools are translated, and how help pages fall back to English.

The platform speaks eleven languages: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, 한국어, 日本語, Nederlands, Português, Polski and 简体中文. One choice sets the language for the dashboard, the account pages, the emails you receive and every tool that has a translation.
Choosing a language
- Top bar — the Language picker is on every page, signed in or not.
- Account page — Language → Save language does the same without JavaScript.
Signed in, the choice is saved on your account and follows you to every device. Not signed in, it is kept in a cookie for a year. On a first visit the platform picks the nearest match to your browser language, and English when nothing matches.

A tool that has no translation for your language shows the nearest one it
has — Português for pt-BR, for example — and otherwise English. Your
platform language is not changed by that.
Help pages
Help is written in English first and translated over time. When a page has no translation yet, you see the English text with the note This page is available in English only so far.
Legal pages
The Terms and the Privacy Policy are German and the German text is binding. Non-binding English translations are linked from both.
