Know your rig fits the power before load-in.

PowerSense turns your gear list into a phase plan: loads balanced across L1–L3, cable runs checked for gauge and voltage drop, distro headroom in plain numbers — and a printable sheet for the venue electrician.

How it works

From gear list to phase plan in four steps.

01

Pick the feed

Schuko, CEE 16–125 A, a generator, or US Edison / 208 V — each with its per-phase breaker budget.

02

Add your gear

From a preset library of consoles, amps, movers and more — or your own saved gear. Enter W, VA or plated amps.

03

Balance the phases

Auto-balancing spreads the load largest-first; every row shows its phase. Pin the plan when you commit.

04

Check & hand over

Cable runs get ampacity and voltage-drop verdicts. Export CSV or print the phase plan for the house electrician.

Features

Everything between the wall socket and the show.

Loads per phase

Per-phase current bars against the breaker, amber at 80 %, red past the trip point — with a safety margin for inrush-heavy rigs.

Cable runs checked

Gauge, length and current per run: guideline ampacity plus voltage drop with 3 % / 5 % thresholds, in mm² or AWG.

Multiple lists, one site

One list per distro — FOH, stage, lighting, catering — and a site overview that adds them all up in W and kVA.

3-phase devices

Motor hoists and 400 V racks split evenly across L1–L3, exactly like the copper does.

My gear + account sync

Save your racks once, add them with one tap — synced through your free account to every device.

Built-in good practices

The help explains the formulas and the habits pros live by: headroom, phase balance, drum unrolling, catering circuits, RCDs.

Who it's for

Anyone who has ever tripped a breaker after doors.

FOH & monitor engineers

Make sure the amp racks and the lighting rig aren't fighting for the same phase before the first bass drop.

Lighting techs & LDs

Plan movers, dimmed conventionals and hazers across phases, and know the cable run to the dimmer city is thick enough.

Bands & small productions

One list per circuit, a printable plan for the venue, and the catering kettle safely on its own breaker.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Does it replace an electrician?

No — it plans. The values are conservative guidelines for flexible rubber cable in free air, and the final distro is always signed off by a qualified electrician.

What about generators?

Generator feed presets budget per-phase current from the kVA rating and warn earlier — at 70 % continuous load, the way you should run a diesel.

US or EU power?

Both. Europe mode is 230/400 V with mm² and meters; North America mode is 120/208 V with AWG and feet.
